ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
When this alumni started, never did it come to anybody’s mind where we are headed.
But it must be stated that it is a leap of faith from a platform of hope established in 2015 when we cast our anchor on Snr Elite Kingsley. He breathed hope into the alumni and we rode on the wings of his vision to pedestals of glory, renewal and rebirth.
Today, as we stand poised to build on his legacy and move ISSPA to the next level, we pay tribute to him. We must applaud him for the conduct of the election and handover.
I dare to believe that we can consolidate on the legacies of the Snr Elite Kingsley’s administration. It was Mohammend Ali, the legendary boxer who stated that “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” The children of Israel thought it was impossible to kill Goliath and hid from him. But someone came with faith and a sling and brought down Goliath without breaking sweat…….
